Food safety – ‘It’s our job!’ Lee Strand has and will always put food safety to the fore of everything we do. We continually strive for best practice on a daily basis using our knowledge, experience and hard work to guarantee a safe product of the highest quality for our customers.
We are continuously evolving our Food Safety & Quality Management System (FSQMS) on site to move with legislative and customer requirements and updates. Everyday we challenge our FSQMS to ensure it is robust and systematic, thus providing consistently high food safety and quality standards.
Our many food safety accreditations in conjunction with our continued investment in our plant and people ensures that Lee Strand products are safe for consumers to enjoy. The accreditations we have achieved and continue to maintain on-site are detailed below:
In Lee Strand food safety starts at the farm and does not finish until the customer has received and consumed the product in a safe and quality manner. Through our stringent traceability procedures and practices, we can trace milk from a customer’s fridge back through our production process to the day it was collected and the farm it was collected from.
We can also account for the food safety and quality of this product through our on-site in process laboratory and quality standards structure. This is why you can ‘Taste the Freshness’!
